My background

As a child, I always hoped my future would revolve around my love of painting and sketching. I just wasn't interested in any other subjects. I enrolled at Art college but found it too restrictive so I decided to carry on as I was, learning through experience.

My Media

I vary my medium, using acrylic, watercolour, gouache, and my new favourite alkyd oils. My choice is dependent on which will give me the textures and depth of colour to really enhance each piece.

My inspiration

I live in the glorious county of Devon where I am surrounded by stunning scenery. Exmoor and the North Devon coastline are right on the doorstep, what more inspiration could I wish for ?
